Description

The Zeal Engineering Daughterboard was designed and developed by Ken Culver, one of the authors of the MS2/Extra and MS3 firmware.  We’re proud to now offer this daughter card in kit form. It was originally developed for the FC RX-7, but we have found it has many more applications. Here are the features this board has to offer:

• 2 VR conditioners using LM1815 adaptive circuits
• 3 general purpose on/off outputs (1 amp max)
• 1 PWM output circuit (3 amps max)
• 1 12 volt tach driver – suitable for 1st generation RX-7 tachometers and many others

Where does this board fit in the ECU?

• It slides into the lid in the upper half of the case.

Can this be used with an MS3?

• This is a bit difficult as there is not much room left inside the case once you include the MS3 daughter card and MS3X expansion card. You could rig it up as an external VR conditioner, but we do not have a suitable case to make a polished, complete installation.
